Saudi Arabia

Building for Riyadh, from Istanbul.

Hospitality concepts, private villas and commercial interiors for clients across the Kingdom — drawn in Istanbul, detailed to Saudi code and supervised on site.

What we do in the Kingdom

Saudi work has come to the studio in three shapes. Fast-casual hospitality that has to repeat across branches without reading as a chain. Private residential, where the reception sequence, the majlis and the family side each want their own logic. And commercial fit-out, where the landlord's shell and the handover date decide more than the mood board does.

We work from Istanbul and Aleppo, which is a shorter distance to Riyadh than most European practices manage and a considerably shorter one culturally. Drawings are issued to Saudi building code, and site supervision runs against the contractor you appoint rather than one we require you to use.

How a Saudi commission runs

Feasibility and space planning first, so the brief is tested against the actual plot or shell before anyone draws an elevation. Concept and developer presentation next. Then full design documentation, and site supervision through handover — in person for the milestones that need it, by correspondence for the rest.
