Doha and the wider market
Qatar reaches the studio mostly through hospitality and retail - spaces with a short fit-out window, a landlord's shell to work inside and a fixed opening date. That is a discipline more than a style: the drawings have to be complete enough that the contractor is not improvising in week three.
We work as the design and documentation office. You keep your local contractor and consultant; we produce the concept, the full set, the specification and the presentation material, and supervise against it.
Retail and hospitality fit-out
Retail is where a shell-and-core handover punishes vague drawings hardest — services coordination, shopfront compliance and a landlord's fit-out guide all landing at once. We document to that level because the alternative is variation orders, and those cost the client more than the design ever did.
