01 What does ZIDANE Architects do?
ZIDANE Architects is an architecture, interior design, construction and consultancy studio founded in 2015. The studio carries a project from first concept through construction documentation and onto site, working across residential, corporate, hospitality, retail and industrial sectors.
02 Where is ZIDANE Architects based?
The studio runs two offices: one in Ash-Shahba'a, Aleppo, Syria and one in Istanbul, Türkiye. Both work as a single team on the same projects, so a client in either country deals with one studio rather than two.
03 Who is Iyad Zidane?
Iyad Zidane is the architect who founded ZIDANE Architects in 2015 and heads ZIDANE Group, which also holds Triple Design Studio. He holds a B.Arch from Al Ittihad Private University and practises across Syria and Türkiye.
04 Does ZIDANE Architects work outside Syria and Türkiye?
Yes. Alongside the work in Aleppo and Istanbul, the studio has delivered an office fit-out for Signal Iduna in Germany and three Bayt Al Shawarma restaurant branches in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and takes commissions across the Gulf and internationally.
05 What kinds of projects does the studio take on?
Private houses and apartments, corporate offices, retail flagships, restaurants, industrial facilities and landscape. Recent work includes the Gozlan CEO office in Kuyumcukent, the Sankari Gold Jewellery flagship and the 4,500 m² Infiber production facility in Aleppo.
06 Does the studio build, or only design?
Both. Construction is handled by the studio's own site teams rather than subcontracted, so the drawings and the finished building stay the responsibility of one studio. Clients who need only design, documentation or consultancy can commission those stages on their own.
07 How much does a project cost?
Fees are quoted per project, because they follow the scope, the area and how far the studio carries the work — design only, design plus construction documentation, or design through to completion on site. Send a brief with the location, the approximate area and what you want built, and you will get a scoped proposal.
08 What languages does the studio work in?
English, Arabic, Turkish and Russian — in drawings, correspondence and site coordination alike.
